Movie Soundtrack Deal
Posted by: | CommentsLove & Opium is happy to have their song, Die Alone selected to be in a new underground fighting movie, The Underground.
Synopsis
Michael Smith (Will Berthaud) is faced with the biggest challenge of his life. With the recent death of his parents, he is forced to take care of his two brothers (Lee and Michael Berthaud) at a young age. He seeks the help of his long time girlfriend (Sara Rattigan), who happily takes them in.
Realizing his new responsibility, Michael set out to find work, only to fail time and time again. Walking aimlessly, he crosses paths with two street thugs (Don “The Man” Foley and Robert P. Young) who inadvertently introduce him to a secret ring of underground fighting.
Blinded by the thought of money and ignoring the warning from his friend/mentor Jason Lewis (Mike Harb), Michael meets with Mr. Monro (Emanuel Ward) the leader of the Underground. A sleek, elegant, well-dressed businessman who is not afraid to get his hands dirty but rather let his elite 5 fighters better known as “The Prized Collection” do it for him. Assisted by the beautiful, cunning, and deadliest of all the prized collection Jade (Sara Devaney). Mr. Monro plots to force Michael into becoming one of his own.
A story dominated by tragedy and sacrifice, Underground follows the struggles of a young man driven by money.

Love & Opium’s CD Makes It’s Way To Greece
Posted by: | CommentsOur CD made it’s way over to Greece an into the hands of Giannis Tsakonas, a journalist for the online hard rock & metal magazine, Metal Perspective.
While he didn’t get the band’s album “art,” he does admit to being surprised at what he heard on the CD.
The definite thing in this release is that all these styles and this attitude actually works. The band has a gift in creating some very-very nice melodies and riffs, both catchy and memorable.
Among his favorite songs are “Bloodflower”, “Die Alone”, “Pray for Nothing” and “The Simple Truth”
Everyone at Love & Opium, and Glassline Records, would like to thank Giannis for taking the time to listen to our music and give us a thoughtful and honest review. Se ef̱charistó̱!
